Collaborative Writing
For writers refining a piece, and for people with a story they want help bringing to the page.
Editing

Copy Editing
A close, sentence-level edit focused on grammar, spelling, clarity, consistency, phrasing, and flow — while preserving your individual voice.

Developmental Editing
A broader editorial look at how the piece functions as a whole, including structure, plot, pacing, character, theme, and narrative direction.

Have something in mind?
Tell me about your project.
Include the type of work, approximate word count, where you are in the process, and what you hope to accomplish.
Collaborative Writing
You have the story.
I help you write it.
I work with people who want to tell a true story but may not know how to turn it into a finished piece of writing.
Projects are limited to biographical and narrative non-fiction: personal stories, memoir-style pieces, founder stories, family histories, and experience-led work that combines storytelling with insight or advice.
I do not currently offer ghostwriting or assisted writing for fictional work.
What We Can Create
-
A focused period, event, or experience from your life.
-
A larger personal story shaped around a central theme or chapter of your life.
-
The story behind a business, career, or creative path.
-
Family history, memories, or stories intended to be preserved and shared.
The Process
Collaborative from beginning to end.
01
Find the story
We begin with what you want to tell, why you want to tell it, and who you want to tell it to.
Build the structure
Together, we develop an outline and identify the experiences, themes, and ideas that will shape the piece.
02
03
Develop your voice
I like to begin through conversation, often drafting portions while speaking with you, to understand how you naturally tell a story, the phrases you use, and the rhythm of your voice.
Write, review, refine
I develop the work in stages, returning regularly for feedback, clarification, and further conversation until the piece feels authentically yours.
04
Project Scope
Focused, short-form projects
I currently take on collaborative writing projects of up to 25,000 words. I am not accepting full-length books or traditional-length memoirs at this time.
Credit & Confidentiality
Your story, your choice.
A project may acknowledge writing assistance, be presented as a collaboration, or remain confidential. Credit and disclosure are agreed upon before work begins.
Pricing
Collaborative writing projects are quoted individually based on length, research, interview time, and the level of writing support required.

You do not need to arrive with an outline or even know exactly what the finished piece should be. We can start with the story.
