Hi, I’m Chase Jackson—a writer from Denver, Colorado, currently studying Classical Studies and English at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
I wrote my first novel in middle school and published it during high school, which sparked what’s become a lifelong obsession with storytelling. Now at 21, writing remains at the center of my life—even as I juggle university and deadlines from opposite sides of the Atlantic.
These days, I’m focused on two major projects: Chasing Snails, a dark academia novel that marks my shift into new adult fiction, and Dawn of the Sword, a high fantasy I plan to develop into a five-book series. Behind those, I’m slowly developing a few other dragon-filled novels that sit patiently in the background, waiting their turn.
Alongside my studies, I’ve continued to grow my craft through programs like the University of Iowa’s Writing Workshop and Oxford’s Summer Seminar in Creative Writing.
While I'm still early in my writing career, I see each book as a step closer to the stories I’ve always wanted to tell. I’m building worlds, rewriting timelines, and—most days—trying to do it all with a can of Red Bull and my cat, Forest, curled up beside me.
